turkey trot is coming up and i’ve been running like a madman on the last few days. One downside to running like a madman is that age begins to catch up to the body. I hurt my knee and i think my hip on the 4th mile today. I ran an additional half a mile trying to “run” the pain out. That did not work.

i’m beginning to like the idea behind bookmooch.com. i enjoy the idea of trading books in that i have no longer a need for. I had a book sitting in my cube for about a year now. Within minutes of posting it online, it was requested.

I’m just glad it was able to find a home instead of placing it in my recycle bin (the other popular place for my books). You do have to pay for shipping yourself so it can get pricey; but a book or two a month is not so bad.

can i push my brain this week i wonder? i’ve been sleeping minimally…and working 12 hour days since monday. 

i guess i should be thankful for actually working and having work.  i’m still not sure which laptop to go for. The XPS M1330 still looking promising instead of the Mac – is it really that much better? bahumbug (dont know if i spelled that right, actually dont even know what that means. It’s a word that pops into my head once in a while and i dont even know what it means).

after a long and exhausting time i think we’ve succeeded on the eradication of the moths. Once in a while a will see a lone ranger prancing around in the air and i almost feel a hint of sorrow for this little fella now that i’ve viciously and precariously assisinated all of its friends and family.

the kitchen in the other hand, is looking good and it almost feels safe to eat off dishes without having to rewash them…but not yet…not yet.

started playing guitar again – well, never really stopped, just never tried to relearn reading music. this time i’ve actually dedicated some good time to get back on track. few weeks now and still going strong. Really dig the new guitar i got…maybe that’s why i really i like it. It’s a Guild with a very very warm sound. A tad smaller than my ol’ epiphone…perfect for a lil’ guy like me…

i dont know where i went wrong but there are friggin’ moths everywhere!! i’ve been trying to get rid of them for the last 2 weeks! i even bought those retarded moth traps. They actually do work, moths check in, but they dont check out. Still, i cant seem to get rid of them. I’ve become a master moth hunter. Here’s my killing schedule -

Step 1 – Morning – wake up and walk into kitchen, look for moths on the ceiling and agains cabinet doors. Wet a cloth. Aim. Shoot.
