i woke up a few nights ago shakened by this really intense dream i had – it was so vivid i’m still thinking about it and i can’t seem to shake the memory off.

over the course of 2008 my grandmother’s health was deteriorating. It began as a simple gland problem and an inability to eat solids. At first she had hope she would be able to go through surgery and have the problem corrected, but at 81 edging 82, doctors told her her problem was inoperable.
